Hey Jill, I went and bought some fabric...I bought one yard of fabric, and 1/2 yard of Soft polka dot fabric. My friend made one with me, and she put the polka dot on the inside, and the fabric on the out side, and it was way cute too. But anyways- I actually would get like 3/4 yard polka if your going to put it on the outside like mine, because mine wouldn't have hurt to be alittle bigger. Anyways- I layed out what I was going to use for the middle, I put in the car seat, and traced the seams onto the fabic, then I cut the fabric 1/2 inch from the line. Then I took my two side peices, just the same size on both peices, and sewed them to my center peice. Then I sewed a seam in the edge, and treaded elastic through the edge, and wala! I don't know if these instructions even made any sense. I kinda just "winged" it. but that's what fabric I bought. Just make sure if you do it, to get 3/4 of a yard of what ever your using for the outside peices. But I guess it all depends on what size car seat you have too. Im sorry this is a really long comment. You probably are thinking Im a nut.

Look-alike meters: Well, I think they are just for fun, not to be scientifically accurate. Thanks for doing it. We had fun playing with it. Dylan and I tried his about 8-9 times. We changed pictures of all three of us. The first said he looked more like Brent by 15% and he had always been convinced he totally looks like me so we played and played changing the pictures until we got a even number. Some were Brent more by 9%, 4% even 7%. Once we had Tucker looking more like me by 3%. But every other picture combo said he looked more like Brent. I thought it would be super fun to do adoptive kids just to confuse it!!
