Spring Recital

Cadence had her spring recital. The last one of the year. They have 2 a year, one at Christmas time and another one in May. She got to do 3 dances this time, a ballet, tap, and jazz dance. Plus one with all of the dancers. Her teacher has kids from 3 all the way up to seniors in high school. She was so cute and did such a good job. We were so proud of her. Her cousin Taylee is in one of the older classes, so that has been fun for them. Now dance is over for the summer, but she will go back in August. We are putting Kyndee in dance too, so I am excited. I just hope that Kyndee loves dance as much as Cadence does.

New pictures of the kids

Our internet has been down for a week. Yay, we finally fixed it.

On Monday I had the girls pictures taken by my friend Liz, who is an awesome photographer. She did an awesome job, even with Kyndee being such a stinker. She kept running off, she is way too busy to get her picture taken. Now we just have to find time to get our family pictures taken.

Sisters are great!

One of my friends posted about her sisters and I loved it, so I thought I would do a post about mine. I only have one sister, but I have 4 sister-in-laws and I love them like mine own sisters.

JEANNIE
is the wife of Dale. And the Mother of 2. She always makes me laugh, is very sweet and is nice to everyone. And also an animal lover! She is also a great adivse giver and a good listener. One of the most responsible people I know. Loves to be outdoors; hiking, camping, walking, whatever as long as it's outside.

CRYSTAL

Is the Wife of Corey, and the mother of 3. She is the most crafty person I know. She can make or do anything she puts her mind to. Is very determined in all she does. She cares about everyone and always trys to help others. She is the best scrapbooker I know.

KAESI
Is the wife of Vince, and the Mother of 2. She is very funny, always makes everyone laugh and loves to crack jokes. She is very sweet is always concerned about everyone. Also a Great massage therapist. She's a fun person and always livens up any get together we have.

MELANIE
Is the Wife of Brent, and the Mother of 4. She is very talented at decorating. She loves doing home improvement projects and can use any tool she puts her mind to. She is an awesome planner. And a proud owner of a farm. I could talk on the phone with her for hours.

Julia Is the wife of Brett, and the Mother of 4 (2 which are twins). She is one of the most patients Moms I know. She has an amazing voice. And also one of the sweetest people I know. I also love talking on the phone with her. She always finds fun things to do when we are together.

I love each one of these girls and am proud to call them my sisters. I feel like I can go to anyone of these girls for great advise. I am thankful for each one of them.

Happy 9th Anniversary to Us

Nine years ago today, I married my bestfriend. Where has the time gone. It has been a great 9 years! One of the things that I loved about him when we were dating was that he could make me laugh and always get me in a good mood. That is still true today. I'm not going to lie, marriage can be hard. There have been times where I seriously wanted to hurt him. LOL. And I am sure he feels the same about me. But I think it's the hard time that make you stronger. The wonderful man that married us gave us some words of wisdom that I still remember today. He said when times get hard, think of the day you got married and how happy you were and remember why you married each other. I loved Cody so much when we got married, but I have a greater love for him because he is a wonderful Dad as well as husband. I am so thankful for the paths I have taken to lead me where I am at today.

I was taking some pictures of the kids outside the other day. So I thought I would share them. I know I have way more of Cadence, but Kyndee won't sit still long enough to get a good picture. And she wears this backpack all day everyday now. The funny part is that she keeps her toy blow dryer, curling iron, and combs in it that she got for her birthday. That was one of the presents Cody and I gave to her. Who knows maybe she be just like her Mama. Everyday she asks me if she can do my hair. Hopefully someday she really will do my hair.

Cadence got her picture taken at dance a couple of weeks ago. They turned out so cute. I just wish I had done her hair curly instead of staight. Oh well, it's still cute anyways.

Is this really spring break?

Our dog Abby didn't know what to think about the snow.

Cadence was loving making snowballs.

The girls loved the snow for about 15 minutes until they got cold then it was inside for a warm bath.

Although the weather was crazy this week and it seemed more like winter break, we had fun.

Am I Crazy?

I just had to ask. You tell me. On Sunday I was getting myself and the girls ready for church while Cody was getting himself ready and like any normal Sunday we just happened to be running late. if we are on time for church it is usually a miracle. I was helping Cadence put on her socks because if I let her do it herself we would be another half hour. Anyways, I couldn't get her sock on so I said out loud "Come on work with me". Cadence looked at me and said "Mom, you're talking to my sock?". I looked at her and said "oh Cadence you're silly". Well we were taking one of Cadence's friends with us to church and she looked at me (just so you know she's 5) and says "you are talking to a sock and she's silly".

I truly love my kids even if it means I am a little crazy. I really don't know what I would do without them.

Tonight I was watching Biggest Loser with Cadence and she ask me if she could be on it. I started laughing. Have you seen her? She is 5 and only weighs 33 pounds. What a funny kid.
