Spring Dance Recital

The girls had their Spring dance recital. They did so good. I was so proud of them. They just love dance. The pictures are from their dress rehearsal. I only took video at the recital.

Lovin Summer

The girls are loving Summer and being in their swimsuits. They go run though the neighbors sprinklers daily. A sweet retired couple are now their adopted Grandparents. They moved in down the street from us a few months ago. The girls have to ride their bikes down the street just to say hi to them everyday. Usually about 4 or 5 times throughout the day. I love my girls! Sometimes they drive me crazy, but I sure don't know what I'd do withouth them.

Kyndee - Miss Sassy Pants - tells you exactly what she thinks - loves to be outside - loves cartoons - chocolate milkaholic - loves dance - sassy but sweet

Cadence - Smarty pants - mellow - tenderhearted - loves sports and dance - loves to be outside - always concerned about others - loves to tease people

Our little guy

Here are some pictures of our little guy. We are still trying to adjust to having 3 kids and catch up on sleep (he thinks he would rather sleep during the day than at night), but life is good and the girls are such great helpers. Sometimes they help a little too much! Cadence asks about every 20 minutes if she can hold him. And she gets mad because she wants to change his diaper on her own, but I won't let her. She is great though to get me diapers and wipes and whatever I need. The first time she saw me breastfeeding she said to me "Mom, I thought babies use a bottle". So we had a talk about that. Then the first time she walked in and saw me using a breast pump, we had to have a talk about that. Darn I need locks on my bedroom doors. So one day I told Cadence 'I need to feed the baby". So she said to me "Oh, you need to go pump yourself". It made me laugh because she thought she was so smart and knew all about it. Kyndee has been keeping me laughing too. About a day or 2 after we brought Kyler home she asked me "Are we going to keep him?" Then just a few days ago she said to me "Mom, was it yesterday that Kyler fell out of your belly?" I started laughing, you never know what kids are going to come up with. We sure love our little guy!

Sping Time

We started of the month by getting some snow. How crazy is that. Cadence loved it. I can't believe it snowed here in April.

This is our garden. I am so excited to get fresh veggies. We planted peas, carrots, radishes, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, jalapenos, and onions. And yes, we did have to replant a few things because of crazy weather.

On Sunday, Cody went out to feed the ducks and chickens and found these cute little ducks just hatching. We now have 12 baby ducks. I'm not quite sure what we are going to do with them yet, we started out with 3 ducks last summer. However, they are sure cute!

And a picture of my belly. We are very excited and anxious to meet our little guy! I only have 10 days left until my due date. But I am hoping that he comes earlier!

The Baby Shower

My friend Cassi made this diaper cake for me. I love it and don't want to take it apart.

The decorations

My sister-in-law Crystal made these as thank you's. Not only were they cute but they were yummy too!

My Sister Jeannie and my Mom with me.

All the yummy food and treats!

I am so greatful for all the wonderful people in my life!

Kyndee's birthday party

We had the party at the park, but it was so cold and windy that day that we left after eating dinner and cake and went to my parents house to open presents and finish the party.

This is the cute dress Grandma Wood gave her.

This kid never smiles for pictures so I thought I should take advantage of that.

This is my nephew Trevon, I think he enjoyed the cake.

My brother Vince doesn't let us take pics of him, so Cody was determined to get one.

My nephew Dax, he is always trying to make us laugh. Just like his Dad.

So Busy!

It's been a little crazy around here the past couple of weeks and months. We have been trying to rearrange almost every room in the house. That was my idea, Cody would have been fine with things the way they were but I needed a change. Maybe it's cause I'm pregnant or maybe it's because we have lived in the same house for 10 years this summer and it's been pretty much the same. So thanks to my awesome Sister-in-law Melanie, she gave lots of wonderful ideas and even came to help me move stuff and get things organized. She has got some serious organizing skills! My friend Julia also came over about a month ago to help me organize and get rid of stuff. I can't believe how much crap we had that we didn't need after 10 years. I have been making trips to the D. I. weekly to get rid of stuff. I can't tell you how much better I am feeling now.

Kyndee had her 4th Birthday on Saturday. We had a little family party for her on Friday night. I can't believe she is really 4. Where has the time gone. We asked her what kind of cake she wanted and she told us "Chocolate". I said " But what else do you want on your cake?" She said "Chocolate". I guess that was all she care about. That kid cracks me up. And she got her chocolate cake.

On Saturday, my Mom, Sister, and Sister-in-law Crystal, had a baby shower for me. That was actually Kyndee's birthday so Cody took the girls to the movies, they saw Tangled. The baby shower turned out really good and now I am feeling a little more prepared to have this baby boy! I got some really cute clothes for our little guy as well and some diapers and other things. Can't wait to meet this little guy! It was fun to be able to see lots of my friends and family that were able to come.

Now, just 5 more weeks until my due date!

8 months pregnant

I know finally an update. I only have 7 weeks left. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Seems like the only things I want to do lately is eat and sleep. I am starting to get to the uncomfortable stage. I know I look way tired in this picture. Could it be that my daughter has woke me up the last 2 night in the middle of the night, or that I couldn't count how many times I switch sides while sleeping, or that I have to get up to pee and get a drink several time during the night. Probably all of them. Gotta love preganacy. Gotta take the good with the bad. We are so looking forward to having this baby boy. Still haven't decided on a name. Man boy names have been hard for us. Don't worry, we'll figure it out soon.
