Is this really spring break?

Our dog Abby didn't know what to think about the snow.

Cadence was loving making snowballs.

The girls loved the snow for about 15 minutes until they got cold then it was inside for a warm bath.

Although the weather was crazy this week and it seemed more like winter break, we had fun.

Am I Crazy?

I just had to ask. You tell me. On Sunday I was getting myself and the girls ready for church while Cody was getting himself ready and like any normal Sunday we just happened to be running late. if we are on time for church it is usually a miracle. I was helping Cadence put on her socks because if I let her do it herself we would be another half hour. Anyways, I couldn't get her sock on so I said out loud "Come on work with me". Cadence looked at me and said "Mom, you're talking to my sock?". I looked at her and said "oh Cadence you're silly". Well we were taking one of Cadence's friends with us to church and she looked at me (just so you know she's 5) and says "you are talking to a sock and she's silly".

I truly love my kids even if it means I am a little crazy. I really don't know what I would do without them.

Tonight I was watching Biggest Loser with Cadence and she ask me if she could be on it. I started laughing. Have you seen her? She is 5 and only weighs 33 pounds. What a funny kid.

Playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house

My girls love their Grandma Wood. She is such a wonderful Mom and Grandma! Grandpa was at work so we didn't get a picture of him.

This is in Grandma and Grandpa's back yard. I love this bench. Kyndee doesn't like getting her picture taken.

Jumpin jacks

We went to Jumpin Jacks with some cousins while in Salt Lake. The kids loved it. And I got to try out my new camera.

Cousins

We got a chance to stay with Cody's cousin. Cadence and Kyndee had so much fun playing with Ericka. Sorry, these are bad pictures but it's all I have. Cadence kept saying she loved her new cousins. I had to tell her sorry they are not new cousins just some you haven't met before. LOL. The funny part was Ericka and Cadence are about the same height and both have blonde hair. Their daddy's got them mixed up a few times when looking at them from behind. Thanks for a fun time Trent and Emily!

Our trip to Salt Lake

A week ago, we got a chance to go to Salt Lake. We stayed with my uncle for a couple of nights and then we stayed with Cody's cousin for a couple of nights. It was nice to get away although the reason we went there was because Cody's Grandpa passed away and we went for the funeral and also my Grandpa broke his hip and was in the hospital so we went to see him. We will sure miss Grandpa Davies!

We were there over Valentines Day. And Cody got me a new camera. I was super excited about that. I love it!!!! So we have a ton of pictures because I was learning how to use our new camera. The pictures above were taken at my uncles house.

Our baby chicks

We are the owners of 10 baby chicks. They are so cute and fluffy now, but I know they will get big fast. The kids absolutly love them. We already have some chickens in a chicken coup in our backyard that Cody built. And it has been fun collecting eggs each day. The kids love going out with Dad to get them. I never thought that I wanted chickens but it has been kind of fun. I know crazy huh!

Weekend Project

We decided to put the girls in the same room and see how it goes. I wanted to do something fun with their room so we came up with this and Cody and I painted their room over the weekend. The taping took longer than the painting, but I like how it turned out and so do the girls. I am hoping that Cadence might actually want to go to bed now (yeah right). I still need to do some touch up work and hang some pictures but I'm sure you get the idea.
