I made some flowers to put in the girls hair. Cadence wanted me to take pictures of her. I just love this kid!!!! She makes me laugh. Cody thinks the flower is too big, but Cadence loves it!

Just for fun

I decided to take some pictures of the kids for fun. I wanted to see if I could make some of them old looking. I like how they turned out after I photoshoped them.

Cadence loves her boots. She always tells me she wants to be a cowgirl, but then she also wants to be a dancer and a mom. She makes me laugh. I think that Cadence like to pose for the camera.

Kyndee will only sit still for about 1 minute. When I tried to get her to sit still she would sit for a min. and say "Ok, I done". Then she would get up and run off to play. In the picture of Kyndee smiling you can kind of see her missing tooth from when she had to get surgery. Man Kyndee's shorts look so big on her, I think it's funny.

In the garden

We are loving our garden! The kids are having fun picking the pea pods. This is our 3rd year having a garden. This year we are growing peas, squash, zuccini, melon, cucumbers, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Eash year we try something new. It's been so much fun.

Even our dog likes the garden! Luckly she doesn't eat it,

she just wants to lay in it.

Shoe Party

I am having a Bella Soles shoe party Tomorrow (Thursday) from 7-9 pm. If anyone would like to come let me know and I'll give you directions to my house. All the shoes are 25$ and under. They also have really cute purses. Eveyone is invited!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion over Memorial Weekend in Delta. Here a couple of pictures that my cousin Meridith took of some of the younger cousins. I think they turned out really cute. I tried to get Kyndee in the picture but it just didn't happen.

Preschool Graduation

Cadence had her preschool graduation on Thursday May 14th. It turned out so cute, her teacher did an awesome job! She really loved her teacher, Emily. She still has one more year before she goes to kindergarten. She says she is really excited to get the summer off before going back to preschool.

Mothers Day

I have a funny story to tell. A few days before Mothers Day, Cadence was laying on my bed watching cartoons while I was hanging clothes. A commercial came on that talked about getting your Mom flowers for mothers day because it would make her feel special. So after watching that, we had this conversation.

Cadence: Mom, I want to get you flowers for Mothers Day.
Me: Ok, well why don't you tell Daddy that.
Cadence: Ok, right now?
Me: No, when he gets home from work.
Cadence: Ok Mom, I'll tell him.

So when Cody got home she did end up telling him that she though they should get me flowers for Mothers day. And as you can tell, Cody got them for me. I love roses!

Our new puppy

We got a new puppy on Monday! We let Cadence name her, and she came up with Abby. We are so excited to have her. She is such a good dog! She is so full of energy but so much fun!

We had another dog named Nook, for about 6 years and he got a tumor in his nasal area and could not breath very well, so we had to put him to sleep just a few weeks ago. Our family misses him very much!


I know that I have more recent pictures of our other dog, but this was the only one I could find. Cadence use to try to ride him, and he would just let her.

These are some random pictures that I had on my phone. Cadence is such a goofball. She is always making me laugh. I love that girl!!! Oh and I forgot to post but Cody and I had our 8th anniversary on April 6th. We stayed in Vegas and left the kids with Cody's parents. It was so nice to get away. I can't believe that we have been married for 8 years.


This is Cody eradicating weed in Cedar. I believe this was taken last fall. I can't remember how much they actually got out of there but it was a lot.


I just love that smile. She just brightens my day.


There's that smile again. The pajamas she has on in the picture are her favorite pj's. I will throw them in the dirty clothes piles to wash and she'll take it out and tell me smell Mom it's clean. So I'll tell her no we need to wash them. And she'll say to me "Ahhh Mom come on". That girl cracks me up.

Easter

Here are some pictures of the Easter hunt at the park. Of course, I forgot my camera so I took these with the camera on my phone. It's does not take very good pictures, but oh well it's better than nothing. We had heard that they were doing a duck drop at the Washington Rec. center so we decided to go. When we got there we were so bummed because you had to buy a ticket to get in and of course the tickets were sold out. So we ended up going to the Sand Hallow pool with my sister and nieces to go swimming. We couldn't believe how many people were there. After going swimming we went and got Cafe Rio! Wow, we love that place!

On Sunday we went to church, then had a family get together with the Wood side of the family. We had another Easter egg hunt for the kids and they loved it. The cousins always have so much fun playing together. We had a fun Easter and hope everyone else did too.
