Ho Ho Daddy
Cody decided he wanted to grow out his beard even longer than last year and bleach it out. So after a couple of bleach jobs this is the final result. Kyndee now calls him ho ho daddy. I think it's pretty funny that she calls him that. And she came up with it all on her own. People are starting to ask him if he will make an appearance at their Christmas party. Maybe we could make a little extra money at Christmas time. lol. It's never a dull moment at our house.

Cadence trying to make a scary face
Cadence as a fairy
We had a lot of fun on Halloween. For the first time we went trick or treating around our neighborhood. We have always been at my parents house for Halloween. Cody had lots of fun trying to scare everyone he knew. We stopped at our bishops house and Cody jumped out of the bushes and really made the bishop jump. It was pretty funny.

Cadence's brithday party
This was Cadence's 5th birthday party. It's a little late posting these but I thought I would post anyways. I really didn't take too many pictures. Her birthday was on the 13th of Oct. Yeah, I am slacking a little. She wanted to do a farm party. It turned out really cute and I think all the kids had lots of fun. Don't you just love Kydee's face in the first picture. She really enjoyed her cupcake.

My Crazy Kids
These are my crazy kids. Cadence was getting ready for dance and decided that I should take pictures of her. She is such a goofball. I have no idea why she is posing the way she is. The picture of Kyndee by herself didn't turn out very good. My kids love to turn on the music and dance. Oh and don't you just love the farmer tans they got going on. Of course Cody and I have some to match.

Too Funny
So, I was cutting this girl's hair today. And last time we cut it, she brought me a picture of Alice from the movie twilight and I cut it like that. I loved how it turned out. Well, one day she was in a store or something and this little girl passed by her and said "Mommy, look it's Alice". Her Mom said "No, it's just a girl that looks like Alice". And the little says "No, it's Alice. So after hearing that, my client Jamie starts laughing. She told me "I wanted my hair to look like Alice's but I didn't think I looked that much like her". I should have taken a picture! Too funny!

Preschool
Cadence is in a preschool and loving it. She is making lots of new friends. I'm a little late posting this but this was her first day. Her teacher said that she can definitely tell the kids like Cadence that have already had a year of preschool. Luckly she has 2 of her friends from last year in her class.

Just a little update
Here are some pictures of Cody on fires.
On Thursday Cadence is starting dance. She is so excited! She will get to do ballet, tap, and jazz. I really think she is going to love it. She has always loved to dance. Almost everyday she asks me to turn on some music so that she can dance. Then, next week she will be going back to preschool. She just barely missed the deadline for kindergarten. I had mixed feeling about that because most of her friends that she went to preschool with last year and most of her friends from primary will be in kindergarten. However, she will be one of the oldest in her class and I do think that is a good thing. I know she will love preschool though and her new teacher. It's going to be so weird to have a schedule again.
We have been ejoying our summer. And it's almost over. We spend many evenings outside letting the kids ride their bikes up and down the sidewalks. And I always hope somehow they'll get all their energy out so they'll go to bed good for me, but it seems like they could go forever. Cadence has become friends with the neighbor boy across the street. His name is Aiden and they have so much fun playing together. It was funny today, I know that Cadence loves playing with Aiden but Kyndee told me she wanted to play with Aiden. That was totally unexpected. She makes me laugh. My girls are such good friends. They do everything together. I just hope it stays that way. I guess our days of staying up late and sleeping in are numbered.
The last thing I am excited to post about is our garden. We have watermelon, cantalope, and honeydew melon growing in our garden along with some other things. Some of them are starting to get big. We can't wait to pick them and try them out. I will take pictures and post them soon. We also have been ejoying our tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini (although it's not doing as well as last year), and we even have jalapenos. But I am too chicken to try them.

Summer Storms
I love summer storms. I took the kids out to play in the rain the other day. Kyndee wasn't too happy getting her picture taken in the first photo. My girls absolutely love being outside. There is nothing like the smell of rain here in southern Utah. With all the storms we have been getting lately it has kept Cody pretty busy with fires. We probably won't see him very much until summer is over.
